Tribute to the Battle of Gettysburg
"A Tribute to the Battle of Gettysburg" took place on July 26, 2013, at the Newport Casino Theater in Newport, RI. It was a musical-theatrical show to commemorate this battle fought July 1-3, 1863. It combined scenes performed by Fred Zilian as Abe Lincoln and music from a 44-piece orchestra conducted by Troy Quinn. Chief Justice (Ret.) Frank Williams served as the master of ceremonies, and Ray Rickman made a guest appearance as Frederick Douglass. (This Tribute was presented by the Fort Adams Trust, a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization.)
